VETERANS, Business professionals in any industry, Military Spouses, Gold Star Family Members, and Work Age Dependent Children
Due to COVID-19 this special event is being hosted virtually by VETS2INDUSTRY. The Founder Brian Arrington, along with our guest speaker hope this little bit of social reprieve that we can bring you during this time of uncertainty, can help ease any suffering and bring some much needed enjoyment if only for a few hours in your life.
We hope you and your families remain safe, secure, and with a warm embrace, We Love You All!
#vets2industry #v2ievents #v2i_jobs
How are we going to do it?
Using the power of the Digital Age and the ZOOM interface, there will be 25 minute speed networking rounds per group and then virtually rotate to the next room after the 10 minute intermission. The breakout rooms will be OPEN NETWORKING rooms and completely RANDOMIZED for the entire event.
Each room will begin with introductions of your 30-second elevator speech. Come prepared and dressed appropriately for a networking event. Business Casual is Appropriate.
Contact a VETS2INDUSTRY volunteer if you need advice on what to wear and we will assist.
Email events@vets2industry.com and make sure your spam filter is OFF for this email address or you will miss the crucial Post-survey.
The first 30-minutes will include welcome address by a Brian Arrington, Intro of Keynote Speaker, and Rules of Engagement. Then the start of the breakout groups.
Agenda (All Times EASTERN):
2pm- 2:07pm: Welcome by VETS2INDUSTRY Founder /President Brian Arrington
2:07-2:17pm: Keynote
2:17-2:27pm: Open Q & A With Keynote Speaker
2:27-2:47pm: Panelists
2:47-2:50pm Rules of Engagement
2:50pm-6:15pm: ***Networking*** (see why 4-hours long, below)
6:15pm-7pm: Closing comments/ Open Q & A by Brian Arrington
(Based on previous event Post survey, attendees wanted longer breakout rooms, enjoyed the 7-8 person breakout groups, randomization, longer group sessions of 25-minutes, longer intermission from 5-minute so we went to 10-minute intermission rounds this time 25/10 rounds)
***The 5-hour event length is not intended for people to stay 5 hours. People can stay as long as they want, leave when they want, and come back as desired as long as they have the password in the invite that will be emailed prior to the event from Eventbrite with the link***
Facilitators in the rooms are only there as guides if conversations dry up or guests need help or need private rooms. This is not a training course or education seminar. This is a networking event to mingle. Be prepared to talk about yourselves, your goals, ambitions, and businesses.

It’s approaching fast! Next week, Wednesday 23 Sep will be our first meeting of the New and Improved Military Entrepreneurs Club Meetup.
We have a great speaker! Tim Parker, retired Navy E-7 and Owner of the Chula Vista Brewery will speak on how he overcame the challenges of starting up a successful, vibrant and fun micro-brewery in the village of downtown Chula Vista.
We’ll have some great door prizes. In particular, a coaching and/or strategy session by veteran Marine and super successful entrepreneur Chris Hoffmann, founder of The Ambitious Vet Network
Request to join his FB group here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheAmbitiousVETNetwork
We’ll have a Business Q&A session where you can win a prize if you can stump the chump. Our very own Dave “Aldo” Ray of Mind Masters South Bay will answer your general business operations and management questions. And if he can’t, you’ll win a prize (as well as he will do homework on your question after the meeting and email out the answer).
Also, practice your “elevator pitch.” We’ll go around the room and everyone can announce who they are and what they’re looking for. You’ll probably meet a great new referral source in the group.
So see you all on Zoom, next week 23 Sep at 1135. Here is the link.

Remember to RSVP on the Meetup page and bring a business “Battle Buddy”
